Wonju DB tabs Henry Ellenson

Henry Ellenson

Wonju DB (KBL) inked 28-year old USA international 208cm center Henry Ellenson (college: Marquette) for upcoming season. He played most recently at Wisconsin Herd (NBA G League) in the U.S. In 45 NBA-G-League games he averaged impressive 20.7ppg, 9.4rpg and 2.7apg last season.
He was voted to USBasket.com All-NBA G League Honorable Mention in 2025.
The previous (2023-24) season he played at Robots (B1 League) in Japanese league.
In 2016 he was drafted by Detroit Pistons (NBA) in first round (18th overall). The former Marquette University standout is in his tenth season in pro basketball.
He has been also a member of the USA international program for some years. He has regularly played for the USA senior team since 2018 and previously for the Under 17 National Team back in 2014.
Ellenson represented USA at the FIBA World Cup 2019 Qualifiers six years ago. Ellenson's team won Gold and he had 8 points per game.
He is a very experienced player. Ellenson has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to four different countries on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Japan, Spain (Joventut and Monbus Obradoiro), NBA (Brooklyn Nets and NY Knicks) and NBA G League (Grand Rapids Gold, Raptors 905 Mississauga and Long Island Nets). Ellenson was selected to USBasket.com All-NBA G League Honorable Mention in 2025.
